When buyers ask an LLM instead of Google

Buyers had started asking language models for recommendations rather than searching. We rebuilt the site's content architecture for how an LLM reads a page, and citations grew roughly fivefold in a quarter.

What was happening

The agency ranked acceptably in classic search and was invisible in the place its buyers had actually moved to. Prospects were arriving having already been given a shortlist by a chatbot, and the agency was not on it. Nobody internally could say why, because the usual SEO dashboard said everything was fine.

What we did.

  1. 01

Rebuilt the content architecture around the descriptive questions buyers ask a model, not the keywords they used to type.

  2. 02

Restructured pages so the facts a model needs are explicit and extractable: named services, named sectors, named outcomes, stated prices where they existed.

  3. 03

Ran an industry-by-service page programme at scale rather than publishing a handful of long essays.

  4. 04

Kept classic search discipline in place, because backlinks and crawlability still feed the same signal.

Where it landed

  • Monthly AI citations grew from 982 to 5,036 between June and August 2026.
  • Inbound conversations began starting from the model's summary rather than from a cold pitch.

What we are not claiming

Citation counts are a visibility measure, not revenue. We are not claiming a revenue number here because we cannot attribute one cleanly.
